Jesse: "Ronnie, who loves you?"
Ronnie (3): "Daddy!"
Jesse: "Very good. And who is the only one who loves you more than Daddy?"
Ronnie: "God."
Jesse: "Very good! And who loves you just as much as Daddy?"
Ronnie: "I don't know."
Jesse: "Mommy does, of course!"
Ronnie: "Yeah, 'cause my mom and dad are BRILLIANT!"

Guest Starring Trace... Part Deux

Trace is back hanging out with the kids tonight (remember him?)... here's just a few highlights in our conversations...

Trace (10): "I don't think I wanna ever get married."
Me: "Why's that?"
Trace: "I feel like whatever girl I marry, her dad is just going to yell at me when he gives me 'the talk.'"

Trace: "I'm gonna be a makeup artist someday."
Me: ...
Trace: "I'm good at making people look ugly. And I'm gonna start with all the people who have ever been mean to me in school. I'll make them ugly and tell them to get out on stage for their surprise."

What We Learn by Watching Looney Tunes

James & Ronnie are playing in the bedroom. Ronnie apparently throws James' toy...

James (7): "Ronnie, don't throw my toy or I'm gonna tell."
Ronnie (3): "I'm not gonna tell."
James: "I KNOW you're not gonna tell... I'm gonna tell Mom you threw my duck."
Ronnie: "I'm not throwing your duck."
James: "Not anymore but you were."
Ronnie: "And I'm not telling Mommy."
James: "Fine, neither am I."

Looks like Ronnie got himself out of this one.
