Big Mouth

So, for Jesse's birthday, I took James and a few of his friends to Amazin' Glazin' in the Sellwood area. We talked about it being a secret for Daddy's birthday, and painted a candy bowl for him. As soon as we got home...

James goes to his dad and says: "We painted a bowl for your birthday, Daddy."

Health Nut

Apparently, we are doing something right with James.

We went to the market the other day to stock up on groceries. As we proceeded through the cereal aisle, he said: "Can I have some Kix? They are good for me." And throughout the rest of the time, as we walked he would ask: "What is that? Is that junk food or healthy food?"

We are so proud.

The Darndest Things

Kids are sweet. And they do the darndest things....and learn the darndest things...but where oh where do they learn these things...

Like the other day, I was sitting in my recliner feeding Ronnie, when James says "Mommy look"... I look up and James is looking over his shoulder with a big smile on his face...MOONING ME!!! What a sweet little angel!

The Everett Boys

Our little chunk is 2 1/2 months old & over 14 pounds! James is such a proud big brother...but he still thinks it's funny when Ronnie cries...

Got Milk?

James is still learning the ins and outs of babies...particularly why God made mommies the way He did so babies could eat.

He watches Mommy feeding Ronnie and says:

"Is that white milk or brown milk?"

Ronnie's here!

Ronald Howard Everett was born December 11th, 2007 at 9:21 pm. He is 8 lbs. 7 oz., 20.5 inches long, with a 14.5 inch head. He is doing quite well, as is his mother, who did an outstanding job bringing him into this world. James is excited to have a little brother, so he and I went to buy a present for the baby after he got to see him.

Thank you to everyone who supported us with your presence, prayers, or both, we greatly appreciate it. Now to the hard part: raising a Godly child in a desperately corrupt world!

Merry CHRISTmas to all, and may God's grace and peace be upon you!

In Christ,
The Everett Family
