Relationships...in the beginning...

James & Ali (our neighbor's daughter) are really good friends... actually, James says she's his "girlfriend." He even made a picture at preschool of him and Ali holding hands. Ali spent the night at our house on Thursday, so they got to play together until she went home on Friday.

Saturday...
James: "Um, Mommy. Ali broke up with me. We were on the trampoline. She said she doesn't want to be a girlfriend anymore."
Mommy: "Well, sometimes girls would rather be friends. Can you be her friend?"
James: "Well, I want her to be my girlfriend, but she said no."

I told her mom about what happened...Ali's sister, Mali, told her that she was really mean to say that to James. Sunday, our families went to lunch together at Widmer's Gasthaus...
Ali: "James, I want to get back together."
James: "Ok. Thank you."

If only relationships stayed this easy.

I just wanted to put up a few cute pics of the kids. Ronnie is getting his first teeth (front bottom) - so much fun when you're nursing (read a truck load of sarcasm).
